Climbing is becoming increasingly popular in Slovenia and more and more people are starting to participate in this attractive sport. The most widespread form of climbing is undoubtedly sport climbing, which takes place on well-protected routes on natural rock. One such sport climbing venue in the vinicity of Slovenska Bistrica is the crag of Buncove skale, which is located between Zgornja Polskava and the village of Šmartno na Pohorju. The crag offers 53 routes in 6 sectors, ranging from 5 to15 meters high and with difficulties from 4b to 7c.
